Windows Movie Maker is a useful apps built-in on Windows XP and it's enough if you'll just create or perform basic editing of a video, but Windows Movie Maker was stripped down by Microsoft to their newly released OS (Vista and Windows 7).So one developer have created a portable version of Windows Movie Maker based on Movie Maker 2.1. The Portable Windows Movie Maker can be run on any computer with Windows XP, Vista, or 7. You can also run it directly from your trusty USB drive.
The developer who created the portable version also includes some transitions and effects which makes it better than the original version 2.1.
